Birthday Wish List
My main birthday wish came a week early; last Friday I received a job-offer for the job I really, really wanted. But in light of my mother giving me a tupperware for my birthday (she really did!), I decided to put together a list of relatively reasonable stuff I would much rather receive as presents. Now, I don't expect to actually receive these from anyone; I just wanted to daydream a little bit

DJ Bear

Books
Doctor Who stuff

Rainbow Vacuum

DJ Bear
Isn't he the cutest thing??? I saw him at the Power Mac store in Rockwell and practically begged the people there to let me buy one but they insisted that he's a GWP (Gift With Purchase) only so if I really want him I'm gonna have to buy a new iPod. Sheesh. Ha-sel, man!

Books
Being absolutely and positively addicted to books, they're always a welcome present. Here are just some of the books from my Amazon Wishlist. These are the ones that aren't locally available (i.e. very difficult to buy for myself)

Doctor Who stuff
Doctor Who merch are very hard to come by, even if you live in the States (which I no longer do). I'd love to get my hands on these rare gems. The Empty Child and Weeping Angel action figures are major collector's items because they're really hard to find and quite expensive. The Scene It game is only available in the UK

Pet Society Appliances

Pet Society Appliances
Okay, for those of you not in the know, Pet Society is a positively addicting application on Facebook where you can design your own pet, buy food for him/her from the grocery, buy furniture to decorate his/her house, and even visit the houses of your friends' pets and play with them or give them baths (among other fun things). Just like in real life, furniture and appliances are expensive. You can see that a washing machine costs 3,000 but I only have 635 coins :( So though I've been able to buy Adipose (my pink bear, seen above) a bath tub and toilet and other basic stuff, I still haven't been able to buy her a washing machine and CD player. So if anyone out there wants to "gift" me appliances for Adipose, they're most welcome!

Rainbow Vacuum
Yes, I quite like vacuums (I bought myself a Dirt Devil 2 years ago and I miss it dearly since its still in San Francisco) and the Rainbow Vac is the king of all vacuums. It uses water to trap dirt instead of filters so the dust doesn't go back into the air. Its marketed as a home cleaning system but I know that a lot of construction companies use the Rainbow before turning over buildings to their owners so it is most definitely commercial quality.
The Rainbow is pretty pricey so my second choice would be a great Wet & Dry vacuum like this beauty, available at ACE Hardware :)
